Success
My wife Dana was going through some old papers and came across this piece of advice. It was passed to her from her grandmother who passed away at 101 and was so sharp, even at her advanced age. It certainly rings true to me. I hope it does to you also. I know Tai Chi practice will help you succeed in living a real life.
“To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one’s self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived – this is to have succeeded.”
Saturday in the Park
We are going to be trying out something we have never done before – having two venues on Saturdays. Given the weather, one group will be in the Park. There will also be a group in the Studio. Some people prefer being indoors, while others like the park setting. We will try this out in November to see how it works. And if the weather is rainy and windy, we will all be in the Studio. This starts November 3 – 9 to 11 AM. Sat. in the Park is always free.
First Saturday Workshop
Push Hands, Nov. 3, 1 to 4 PM at the Studio – Fee $30
We will continue working on the two and four hands forms. Quite a nice turn out last month. Let’s keep it up. Just show up.
