Movement #37 – Step To The Left And Change Saber Hand

Believe it or not, we are now headed into the ending. Stephanie is gone and this is part of the conclusion. I am stepping to the left and changing saber hand to end the form.

Replace the left foot slightly to the left and parallel to the right foot. Be sure to sink into the right Kua and don’t shift the weight yet.

The left hand relaxes and is going to lead the movement to the left. Both hands are at lower waist level.

Focus on the energy returning to the center.

Start to shift the weight onto the left foot and turn the torso to the left. At this point, the torso faces north.

The two hands are moving to the left. The left palm turns upward to receive the saber handle. The saber is now parallel to the ground and pointing to the left at waist level.

Focus on the center.

The weight is shifted onto the left foot and the torso is turned slightly more to the left then north. Sink into the left Kua. The right leg is straight without being locked.

The two hands are brought over to the left side of the waist and the saber handle is passed to the left palm, which is facing upward.

Focus on the center.
