Ride Tiger And Cut Wrist

This is the last movement for side A. There will be a transition later in order for A side to change to B side. This is a fun movement to practice. Since I was moving the saber up to protect my upper body, the opponent attacks my leg. I get it out of the way and slice her wrist.

Starting to get my leg out of the way and cutting downward.

The right leg is starting to lift and swing to the left to get it out of the way. The torso is turning to the left to provide a twisting snap for the right arm to cut down.

The right arm is extending outward by mostly pivoting at the elbow. The left arm is opening to the left to provide balance.

Focus on getting the leg out of the way.

The movement is complete.

The right leg is raised as high as you want and moved to the left. The torso faces north or slightly more to the left.

The right arm is extended toward the corner with the cutting edge facing right. The cutting edge is about at the level of the upper leg.

Focus on the cutting edge.
